In this session we will cover what N-computing is, how to configure and manage it.

This session introduces participants to the fundamentals of LAN setup and provides a practical understanding of how devices communicate within a network and access the Internet.

This session will involve a short quiz designed to assess participants' understanding of the key concepts covered under the LAN session.

It will help reinforce learning, identify areas that may need further clarification, and encourage active participation.

In this session, participants will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of cybersecurity, focusing on the importance of protecting digital information and systems.

The session will cover basic cybersecurity principles, common threats (such as malware, phishing, and social engineering), and essential best practices for staying safe online.

Participants will also learn about password security, safe browsing habits, and how to recognize and respond to potential cyberattacks, both in personal and institutional settings.

In this session, participants will be introduced to essential digital systems commonly used in educational and administrative settings.

The session will cover how to effectively use email communication as well as how to use the email hosting paltform, and an overview of RENU identity services like BigBlueButton (BBB), RENU drive, eduvpn and virtual labs.

It will also cover best practices for planning, deploying, and managing wireless connectivity to ensure reliable coverage and performance across school facilities.

In this session, participants will learn how to configure and connect to eduroam.

The session will guide users through the steps required to set up eduroam on various devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets), troubleshoot common connection issues, and understand the security benefits of using eduroam for seamless internet access across participating institutions.

It covers the fundamentals of real-time network monitoring, traffic analysis, and fault detection. Emphasis is placed on identifying common network problems, interpreting monitoring data, and applying troubleshooting methodologies to ensure optimal network availability and reliability. Practical demonstrations will guide participants through the use of standard monitoring tools and effective troubleshooting workflows.
