About the ARCHIVED CODE
The ARCHIVED CODE is a biennial event that brings together all heads of ICT from the RENU member institutions, which include recognized universities in the country and several other reputable organizations engaged in research and education.
The event is scheduled to take place from 18th to 19th July 2024 at Speke Resort Munyonyo. This year's forum anticipates an impressive turnout, of over 150 heads and directors of ICT from diverse organizations across Uganda expected to participate.
The forum provides a platform to discuss emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in ICT, with a particular focus on the educational and research sectors. Participants can expect to engage in keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions.
What to Expect

Cutting-Edge Technologies Presentations and demonstrations showcasing the latest advancements in ICT, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and big data analytics, and their applications in the educational and research landscape.

Policy Dialogues Engaging in discussions on policy frameworks, regulations, and strategies needed to leverage ICT for enhancing education quality, accessibility, and inclusivity, as well as promoting digital literacy and skills development.

Collaborative Initiatives Opportunities for networking and forging partnerships among ARCHIVED CODE, academic institutions, government agencies, industry stakeholders, and international organizations to drive collaborative projects and initiatives aimed at harnessing ICT for educational excellence and research innovation.
