This will ensure all attendees have a shared understanding of the purpose and direction of the sessions.

15:00 Break Session – One-on-One Interaction with Head Teachers

This session provides an opportunity for individual engagement with head teachers to discuss specific school network needs, address any concerns, and offer tailored recommendations based on their unique environments.

Evening Tea: Session

This session provides a relaxed environment for participants to interact, reflect on the day's discussions, and network with fellow head teachers and facilitators.

It offers an opportunity to exchange ideas, build connections, and strengthen collaboration in support of ICT integration in schools.

Opening Ceremony - Welcome, Speeches & Expectations

This session will feature welcome and registration, followed by speeches from the Coordinator, a representative from the hosting institution, ICT teachers, and the RENU team.

It will also include a photo moment and a brief sharing of expectations from the ICT teachers regarding the workshop.

Presentations from Stakeholders – RENU BD Team & UCC

This session will feature presentations from key stakeholders, including the RENU Business Development Team and the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC).

They will share insights on ICT integration in education, available support services, and national efforts to enhance connectivity and digital inclusion in schools.

Introduction to Local Area Network (LAN) and how the Internet works.

This session will provide participants with a foundational understanding of Local Area Networks (LANs), including their components, setup, and role in school environments.

It will also cover how the Internet works from data transmission, IP addressing, to how devices connect to the global network offering practical insights to help schools better manage and utilize their connectivity.
